i found on a sunbeam in a tiny bookstore the summer before i started highschool. this is probably the single most impactful piece of art both on my life and on my artwork. something about tillie waldens art style is just very inspiring to me. it was also one of the first lesbian romances i'd seen at a time when i wasn't even aware i was a lesbian (i was too busy freaking out about the concept of gender lol). anyways i love this book always and forever.
